Audio conversion on mp3frommidi.com happens in your browser. The converter does not upload your selected audio or generated MIDI to our hosting service.

Audio and generated notes

The converter reads the file you select, decodes it locally and detects notes in browser memory. The file name and detected notes appear only in your current page. You choose whether to download the generated MIDI to your device. Closing or reloading the page clears the converter's working session; it does not delete files you have saved to your device.

Website delivery

Cloudflare Pages hosts this website. Visiting a page sends a normal web request to Cloudflare, which may process information such as your IP address, requested URL and request metadata to deliver and protect the site. Local audio processing does not mean that visiting the website creates no network traffic. See Cloudflare's Privacy Policy for information about its processing.

Cookies and storage

The current converter code does not set cookies or store your audio in local storage or IndexedDB. It does not include an analytics script, registration form or payment system. Browser downloads remain subject to your browser and device settings.

Planned third-party advertising

This website plans to display third-party advertisements after approval by an advertising network. No advertising network code is installed at present. When advertising is enabled, third-party providers may use cookies or similar technologies and process information about visits to deliver and measure advertisements. Before enabling ads, this policy will be updated with the selected providers, their privacy information and applicable consent or opt-out choices. Your selected audio is not submitted to an advertising provider by the converter.

This page describes the current implementation. Changes to hosting, measurement or advertising will be reflected here when introduced.
