Note Foundry operates mp3frommidi.com, a browser-based MP3 to MIDI converter. The site helps you turn a clear, single-note melody into an editable MIDI file.

What the tool does

Choose an MP3 or WAV file, convert it, and review the detected notes. Detection confidence and minimum note length change which notes are kept; transpose shifts their pitch. You can preview the notes before downloading a single-track MIDI file.

What to expect

The converter analyzes pitches in your browser. It is intended for one note at a time, such as a sung melody or solo instrument. It does not separate instruments into multiple tracks. Chords, drums and full mixes may produce missing or incorrect notes. Review the result before using it in a music project.

Your audio stays local

The converter does not upload your selected audio. Conversion runs without an account or a paid API. The current input limits are one file at a time, up to 20 MB and two minutes.
